Various Roads, Northern Area - Proposed Part-Time 20 mph Speed Limit Order

North Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be implement a Part Time 20 miles per hour speed restriction on Various Roads, Northern Area on the undernoted roads: 

Auchinloch  

Fourth Avenue and Langmuir Road 

Banton 

Lammerknowes Road and Mailings Road  

Coatbridge 

Albert Street, Colt Terrace, Dochart Drive, Dover Street, Dudley Drive, Dunbeth Road, Laird Street, Portland Street, Teviot Street, Trent Street and Weir Street  

Condorrat 

Avonhead Road, Lomond Drive and Morar Road 

Croy 

Constarry Road and Barbegs Crescent 

Cumbernauld 

Athelstane Drive, Broomlands Road, Ellisland Road, Island Road, Kildrum Road, Liddel Road, Millcroft Road, North Carbrain Road, Scott Crescent, Scott Drive, Tarbolton Road, Tiree Drive, Tiree Road, Whitelees Road  

Gartcosh  

Coatbridge Road, Lochend Road and Old Gartloch Road 

Glenboig 

Centre Street, South Medrox Street and The Oval 

Kilsyth 

Backbrae Street, Balmalloch Road, Corrie Brae, Corrie Road, Deacons Road, Fisher Avenue, Howe Road, Low Craigends, Northfield Road, Shuttle Street and Barlandfauld Street

These part-time restrictions will only be effective when the lights on the speed limit signage are flashing.

Any person wishing to make representations in support of, or raise an objection to, the proposals must do so in writing to the Chief Officer of Legal and Democratic, North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB or to the email address troconsultation@northlan.gov.uk no later than Wednesday, 3 May 2023 and must contain the name and address of the person making the representation/objection, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
