Motherwell and Ravenscraig (Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) Variation Order No 2

Notice is hereby given that North Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be to amend the North Lanarkshire Council (Motherwell and Ravenscraig Area) (Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) Order 2020 (Variation Order No 1) as detailed below:

Details of Amendment

Amend Schedules I, II, III, IV, V, VIII, XVII, XIX

Hamilton Road

Muir Street

Unnamed Road (New Station Link Road between Hamilton Road and Muir Street)

Add Schedule XX – Goods Vehicles Loading Only – Restricted to 30 Minutes – Return Prohibited within 3 Hours

Full details of the draft Traffic Regulation Order, which form the proposed North Lanarkshire Council (Various Streets, Motherwell and Ravenscraig Area) Proposed (Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) (Variation Order No 2) Order 20** together with plans, a statement of reasons are available for inspection during normal office hours, Monday to Friday inclusive, at the office of the Chief Officer (Legal and Democratic), North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB or can be downloaded from the supporting documents section.

Any person wishing to make representations in support of, or raise an objection to, the proposals must do so in writing to the Chief Officer (Legal and Democratic), North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB or to the email address troconsultation@northlan.gov.uk no later than Wednesday, 26 July 2023 and must contain the name and address of the person making the representation/objection, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
