PROPOSED (TRAFFIC REGULATION) (VARIATION ORDER) ORDER

Notice is hereby given that North Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be to amend the North Lanarkshire Council (Cumbernauld and Condorrat) (Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) Order 2018 as amended by the North Lanarkshire Council (Cumbernauld and Condorrat) (Traffic Regulation) (Variation Order No1) Order 2020 as detailed below.

Schedule XIII – No Waiting at any Time

Add

Unnamed Road (Carriageway off Kirkintilloch Road), Cumbernauld (1) from its junction with Kirkintilloch Road, southwards and then south eastwards for a distance of 58 metres on the west side of the road, and (2) from its junction with Kirkintilloch Road, southwards for a distance of 20 metres or thereby on the east side of the road.

Add Schedule XVII - Limited Waiting Monday to Saturday - 2 Hours No Return Within 1 Hour 

Kirkintilloch Road, Cumbernauld (Access to 31 Auchenkilns Holdings) (1) from a point 15 metres south of the extended line of the southern kerb of the B8048 Kirkintilloch Road, southwards for a distance of 84 metres or thereby and (2) from a point 109 metres south east of the extended southern kerb of B8048 Kirkintilloch Road, southwards for a distance of 27 metres or thereby, on the west side of the road.

Any person wishing to make representations in support of, or raise an objection to, the proposals must do so in writing to the Chief Officer (Legal and Democratic), North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB or to the email address troconsultation@northlan.gov.uk no later than Wednesday, 4 December 2024 and must contain the name and address of the person making the representation/objection, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
