Provost Kenneth Duffy has visited Caldervale High School in Airdrie to celebrate LGBT History Month and promote Inclusive Education.

The number of young people in North Lanarkshire leaving school and entering further and higher education, training or employment is at its highest level since data was first recorded 13 years ago.

Residents of Coatbridge had a sweet surprise while tuning into Cadbury's latest national television advert. The iconic Corner Shop on Quarry Street is prominently featured as the 200-year-old establishment in Cadbury's newest advertising campaign. It marks the second time the shop has been chosen to star in one of Cadbury's campaigns.
