Climate Plan ACT2030

Action on Climate Together - Information for Businesses

There are over 10,000 businesses operating in North Lanarkshire and each generates carbon emissions through their use of buildings and transport as well as industrial or farming processes.

As a business in North Lanarkshire, there is a lot you can do to reduce the impacts of climate change. For example, you can:

  • Minimise global warming by being proactive. Start by determining the size of your carbon footprint. Identify which parts of your business contribute most to the production of greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Strategically plan what actions you need to take to make your business more sustainable.

By acting together, we can halt the effects of a changing climate and the devastation it can cause worldwide.
