Setting equality outcomes is a requirement of the Equality Act 2010 Public Sector Equality Duties and they help us to advance equality for people with protected characteristics.
The protected characteristics are; age, disability, gender re-assignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and belief, sex and sexual orientation.
We monitor how the outcomes are progressing and we publish this in our mainstreaming equality report every two years.
