North Lanarkshire has attracted more international investment than any other local authority in Scotland over the last two years.

Our business waste collection service has been online for all existing customers since April 2022 and now have over 50% of our customers registered.  However, we still need our remaining customers to register as soon as possible.

Social Justice Secretary, Shirley Anne Somerville, visited North Lanarkshire to meet with council staff and hear about the excellent progress being made in providing accommodation for people fleeing the war in Ukraine. 

Community groups across North Lanarkshire are gearing up to receive restored cycles thanks to a new initiative.
