Our business waste collection service has been online for all existing customers since April 2022 and now have over 50% of our customers registered. However, we still need our remaining customers to register as soon as possible.
Having an account online makes it quicker and easier for businesses to manage their account and allow them to order new bins, change the frequency of their collections, and view pricing information and payment methods.
The Environmental Protection (Duty of Care) (Scotland) Regulations 2014 requires businesses to have a Duty of Care – Waste Transfer Note and Terms of Condition document. This can now only be done online.
Over the next few weeks, we will be visiting businesses that have not yet registered to help them to set up the online account.
We will not be in a position to continue to deliver a service for those businesses who have not registered with the online account by 31 October 2023 and any company not registered by this time will be removed from the Council collection service.
If you have not registered yet, it’s a simple process, firstly, you need to set up a Bisaccount.
This is a simple, secure way to help businesses transact with us online using just one username and password.
Then you can register and manage your business waste account online and generate your Duty of Care.
