Cumbernauld town centre regeneration consultation

We are hosting an exhibition in Cumbernauld Library to show residents and businesses how the town centre could look through concept designs, as well as outlining the history of the town.

This will provide an opportunity for the community to highlight their needs and demands, alongside our ongoing work engaging with businesses about their future requirements.

The exhibition will be open during Cumbernauld Library’s normal business hours and council officers will be available at various times from Monday 26 August until the end of September, for residents and businesses to ask questions and provide their views.

Officers will be available at the exhibition over the next six weeks.

Below are the times officers will be present during weeks 5 and 6 of the exhibition:

Week 5
Date Time
Tuesday 24 September 2pm - 7pm
Thursday 26 September 10am - 1pm
Friday 27 September 10am - 1pm
  Week 6
Date Time
Monday 30 September 2pm - 4:30pm
Thursday 3 October 2pm - 7pm
Saturday 5 October 10am - 12pm

Week six will be the final week of this consultation.

This is the first stage of consultation with more to come as we develop the Cumbernauld Town Masterplan and detailed designs for the redevelopment of the area over the next few years.

Survey

We want to hear your thoughts on the initial concept designs by completing our short survey below.

We would encourage you to attend the library exhibition first, if you can, to hear more from our council officers on the plans and estimated timescales for redevelopment before completing the survey.
