The project was delivered in two phases:

• Phase 1 - cycle/footpath connecting Meadowhead Road to O'Donnelll Way.
• Phase 2 - cycle/footpath connecting Meadowhead Road to Robberhall Road.

The path constructed in the first phase of works was opened in July 2022.

The path constructed under the second phase of works was opened in August 2023.

The project was funded by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), the Scottish Government through their Vacant and Derelict Land Fund and Place-Based Investment Programme, and by the UK Government through their Shared Prosperity Fund.
