Town Centre and Retail Survey
To help support our focus on town centre regeneration, we carry out and maintain a comprehensive Retail Outlets Survey.
This identifies occupancy and uses in our town centres, local centres, and stand-alone shops.
The information is used to inform town centre health checks and town centre frameworks.

It also helps us measure change within our centres, ensuring that they are vibrant places filled with a mix of uses and activities and not just shops.
Our most recent survey mainly covers centres and included information on over 2,000 outlets which together amounts to 740,000 square metres of floorspace.
