To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Get Walking Lanarkshire is highlighting the benefits of a health walk.

We’re building on our proactive partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse with the launch of a new Domestic Abuse Digital Directory, enhancing support for victims and survivors across North Lanarkshire.

Plan ahead and allow plenty time for travel – that’s the important message for anyone attending the public fireworks display at Strathclyde Country Park on 5 November.

A treasured piece of Airdrie’s history has been preserved, with the iconic sign from the former Orrs Department Store now on display for the public to view in the foyer of Airdrie Library. The sign, a symbol of the store that served the community for nearly 150 years, has been saved as part of efforts to preserve the town’s heritage.

Pupils at St Kevin’s primary school in Bargeddie took part in a special event to mark the start of construction on their new community hub.
