Trading Standards tobacco seizure February 2024

More than 46,000 illicit cigarettes and 1,600 non-compliant nicotine vapour products have been seized by our Trading Standards team from two premises in Wishaw.

Residents of Coatbridge had a sweet surprise while tuning into Cadbury's latest national television advert. The iconic Corner Shop on Quarry Street is prominently featured as the 200-year-old establishment in Cadbury's newest advertising campaign. It marks the second time the shop has been chosen to star in one of Cadbury's campaigns.
