Working within catering services will help you to expand your knowledge on the provision of healthy meals across a variety of catering settings including our nursery, primary, and secondary schools. Working as part of a team you’ll prepare, produce, and serve meals and you’ll be involved in all aspects of the kitchen duties.

You’ll gain a greater understanding of the importance of a healthy balanced diet, food hygiene and health and safety. After fully completing this two-year apprenticeship you’ll gain an award in Hospitality SVQ Level 2/ SCQF Level 5 and Professional Cookery SVQ Level 3/SCQF Level 6.
