Core paths plan consultation

The development of a Core Paths Plan is a key requirement of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003.

Woodland Path SCP

Our Core Paths Plan was adopted in 2011. We believe our current Core Paths Plan continues to provide reasonable and effective access across the region. However, owing to changes across the area with infrastructure development and road improvement schemes being implemented, it was decided to carry out a review of our network.

As part of the review, we are not proposing significant changes but aim to make necessary amendments, corrections, and updates to specific paths to keep them relevant and accessible to our communities.

As a statutory process we invite representations or objections on the plan between 15 January and 6 April 2025.
