St Michael's Primary School Cost of Living Event

How did the project come about?

200 families engaged in the event that coincided with Parents Evening in the school.

All partners received multiple referrals and Moodiesburn Community Action shared their community consultation questionnaire.

What was the outcome?

The project contributed to the Northern Corridor Community Board Children & Young People and Health Inequalities LOIP priorities and produced several positive outcomes for local families. 

In addition to accessing key information and advice from partners, community members of all ages now have improved access to statutory and voluntary sector services and have also increased access to healthier eating opportunities and free period dignity products.
