Glenboig Development Trust continues to support and provide the Senior Care Programme meal delivery service and lunch club. This is a valuable service for older people throughout the local community ensuring service users get regular hot meals. The lunch club provides a chance to socialise whilst enjoying a meal.

On a monthly basis the service delivers approximately 440 hot meals, Monday to Saturday, and the lunch club has 80-90 attendees every month.

Older people across Glenboig and local communities in Coatbridge benefit from a regular hot meal delivered to their home which helps to support their health and reduces their financial outgoing on food, thus supporting them to stay out of poverty.
