Following consultation with tenants, residents, and local elected members to identify community needs and aspirations, our contractor Hadden Group pledged to deliver a number of Community Benefits.

William's Story

Read all about one of the new entrants William Davidson, who took his first step into building a career in construction with Hadden Group.

Supported by his job coach, William undertook different job tasters in a variety of work settings. It soon became clear that his interests lay in one area only - construction, and he showed a keen interest in becoming a labourer.

Supply Chain Development

Hadden Group we're invited to speak at North Lanarkshire's Meet the Real Buyer event in December 2021. The sessions included opportunities for small local businesses to develop and engage with larger businesses, such as Tier 1 contractor Hadden Group, in order to progress their supply chain and further their potential custom. In total, there were 709 visits to the exhibitions and 100% of the feedback from the Construction Roundtable Q&A stated they were encouraged to bid for public sector contracts in the future. 

Non-financial Support

In May 2022 Hadden Group donated excess timber to wood recycling team (Glasgow Wood). This donation amounted to £500 in value.
