Hadden Group delivered a range of career events to various schools beginning in November 2021 with a Digital Technology in Construction talk to P6 & P7 pupils at Kirkshaws Primary School in Coatbridge.
This was followed by careers events at St Ambrose High School, Plains Primary School and Coatbridge High School where a range of topics were discussed with the different age groups involved.
The events included CV help, Interview Skills, Lego building challenge and Question & Answer sessions. The feedback received from the teaching staff after the events was all very positive and pupils were encouraged to further pursue their interest in construction after the session had finished.
In June 2022, Hadden Group donated £250 towards the local Chryston Gala Day, held adjacent to the site of the 21 new properties on Lindsaybeg Road.
Balmalloch Primary School & Nursery, Kilsyth benefitted from the donation of excess material, where 60 sheets of plywood were transformed into an outdoor classroom for the pupils. This donation totalled a saving of approximately £2,300.
