There are two local council Remembrance Sunday Services and Parades scheduled to take place on Sunday, 9 November 2025 in North Lanarkshire.

St Serf’s Primary School has received very positive feedback following an inspection carried out towards the end of June 2025.

The Watersports Centre at Strathclyde Country Park will close on Sunday 19 October 2025, following the October school holidays. The centre is scheduled to reopen in Spring 2027 after a major redevelopment.

Work to upgrades the floodlights at the sports pitches at St Margaret’s High School, are currently underway – replacing them with modern, energy-saving lights.

North Lanarkshire’s Cultural Committee is inviting people to join in the celebrations for Black History Month at Jerviston Community Centre on Friday 24 October, from 11.00am to 2.00pm.
