Trainees on our No Limits programme have been participating in a wide range of activities, including canoeing, rock climbing, and training in Health and Safety, Mindset, and First Aid—delivered by McTaggart Construction.

No Limits is a year-long, paid work placement for young people with a disability or additional support needs.

As part of the programme, trainees also attended a Digital Bootcamp in Glasgow, run by QA, where they created their own café business.

This allowed them to build IT skills while using creativity and teamwork.

This extra opportunity was made possible through the North Lanarkshire Academies Team and funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

New placements will begin in summer 2025.

For more information about the programme, don't hesitate to get in touch with Gail McKee, Supported Employment Co-ordinator, at mckeeg@northlan.gov.uk
