Electors in the Motherwell South East and Ravenscraig council ward are being reminded to use their vote in the by-election on Thursday 16 November.

Poll cards, with information about where to vote, have been issued to eligible voters. Polling takes place between 7.00am and 10.00pm.

“The council runs a wide range of local services, such as schools, roads, parks, housing, and waste services, and elected members represent local residents on issues affecting them, their families and communities,” said Returning Officer Des Murray.

“So it is important that everyone who is eligible uses their vote in the by-election to have a say in who represents the ward they live in.”

Anyone who has not received their polling card should contact our Election Office on 01698 302058.

Electors are advised that photo identification is NOT required to vote in this by-election.

Information about the by-election is available at www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk/your-council/elections-and-voting/motherwell-south-east-and-ravenscraig-ward-19-election
