Residents living in some council homes will be asked to participate in a face-to-face survey in the coming weeks, to give their views on the quality of the housing services they receive.
The independent survey aims to gather essential feedback on various aspects of housing services, including tenant satisfaction, housing quality, rent levels, estate management and measures to address antisocial behaviour.
Stephen Llewellyn, Chief Officer (Housing Management), explained: "We want honest opinions from our tenants about all aspects of our housing service, so we can see what is working well and what we could look to improve upon.
“The feedback will play a vital role in completing the annual return on the Housing Charter, which benchmarks the council's performance against other local authorities in Scotland. With the insights gained from the survey, we will look to improve and enhance the housing services for our tenants.”
The survey, conducted by independent research agency Research Resource, will involve approximately 400 households during August 2023. The trained survey researchers will carry formal identification and a letter confirming they are conducting their research on behalf of the council with all responses being kept entirely confidential.
