The council has welcomed funding from the Learning Estate Investment Programme to extend Chryston High School.

The school extension will be much appreciated by the wider school community and we are looking forward to working with the Scottish Futures Trust on this project.

Our community hub programme has significantly progressed, with, in this year alone, impressive multi-use facilities opening across in Newmains, Riverbank in Coatbridge and also at Chryston Community Campus.

Located in the heart of local communities, these facilities offer a range of amenities and integrated services that will be a constant in people’s lives, bringing communities closer, in one central space.
