Voting in the Scottish Youth Parliament Elections in North Lanarkshire will begin again on Monday 15 to Friday 26 January 2024 with the results announced on Monday 29 January 2024.

This follows voting being suspended last month due to a technical error on mobile devices. Votes cast between 6-14 November 2023 will not count and young people are requested to vote again in January.

Information on all candidates will be shared via schools and social media in early January 2024.

Young people can vote at one of the voting points in schools in the morning, interval, lunchtime and after school or online with a Young Scot card.

To vote, young people will require a Young Scot card, however, temporary numbers will be issued to those who do not have their card at the voting points.

For more information about the candidates please follow the SYP 2023 Elections on social media.
