Talented pupils from schools across North Lanarkshire took part in this year’s Christmas card design competition, showcasing their creativity and festive spirit.
The winners were unveiled at a special event hosted by Berryhill Primary School in Wishaw. Each winner’s design will feature on Christmas cards sent across the country and even internationally.
Provost Kenneth Duffy said: “The standard of entries was exceptional, and choosing a winner was no easy task. The pupils have used their artistic talents to bring a splash of colour and joy to this year’s Christmas cards. A big thank you to Berryhill Primary School and Head Teacher Carrie Nicol for hosting this fantastic event.”
The winning pupils received a goody bag containing six copies of their card, a personalised certificate, a framed copy of their artwork, a £20 Amazon gift voucher, drawing materials and a festive selection box.

- Sophie (P7) – St. Patrick’s PS, Kilsyth (chosen by Depute Leader)
- Billy MacKenzie– Mavisbank (chosen by Councillor McBride)
- Ola (S2) – Our Lady’s High School, Cumbernauld (chosen by Education’s Chief Officer Barry Smedley).
