The latest North Lanarkshire school and community hub hailed as an "outstanding facility" ahead of its opening later this month.
The £25 million Riverbank Community Hub will be home to more than 500 pupils and staff when it opens in mid-August.
On a tour of the building on Wednesday 9 August along with council chief executive Des Murray, Councillor Jim Logue, Leader of North Lanarkshire Council, thanked the project team behind the new building.
He said: “This is an outstanding new facility, which will benefit the entire community. It’s a clear example of the ambition we have to provide outstanding resources for pupils to enjoy and for local community groups to make full use of.
“I’d like to thank everyone involved in this project for their dedication – what they have achieved is simply incredible.”
Riverbank Primary School was formed following the merger of Carnbroe and Sikeside primary schools.
Pupils will experience their first day in the new community hub on Friday 18 August.
