Children at St Joseph’s primary in Stepps now have even more reason to look forward to playtime after their playground was extended

An area of the playground has been re-surfaced, providing more space and opportunities for children to play.

Brendan McCloskey, Head Teacher of St Joseph’s Primary School, said: “It's wonderful to see our children enjoying using this extended outdoor space.

“We have been able to introduce new outdoor activities and we currently have a group of children and staff raising funds and preparing a wide range of experiences which would not have been possible without this newly surfaced area.

“Our parent council and PTA are also working on plans for members of our parent forum and wider community to work alongside our pupils to develop other ways in which the space can be used."
