Firpark Secondary School have announced an exciting partnership agreement with local restaurant, Boh’Cucina

Operating since 2013, the well-loved ‘All Stars Bistro’ at Firpark Secondary has undergone a contemporary rebranding focusing on ‘local & sustainable’ and has relaunched as the ‘Fir-Ever Food Café'.

The Fir-Ever Food Café will strengthen the partnership further with Boh’ Cucina by enabling senior pupils to receive masterclass pizza training and work experience opportunities under direct supervision of the Boh’ Cucina staff.

Working together in this way will mean that Firpark pupils will benefit from work experience opportunities in Boh’ Cucina establishments as well as employment opportunities within the hospitality industry.

Pupils and staff at Firpark Secondary are delighted that a successful and driven local business is working with the school in such a fashion.

The benefits are already being noticed, with two of our pupils moving on to employment within this sector.

The partnership agreement was signed by Acting Head Teacher, Ian McGurk and, Yacine Titi Company Director at Boh’ Cucina.

The event was well attended by representatives from Firpark Secondary’s Parent Council, Developing Scotland’s Young Workforce and North Lanarkshire and Provost Agnes Magowan.
