Congratulations to our Community Learning & Development Adult Learning & Resettlement teams who won two national awards recently.
The Scotland’s Learning Partnership event took place in Glasgow recently and North Lanarkshire’s James Caldwell won an award for the grit and determination he has shown to learning Gaelic and showing that at 78 years old learning is lifelong.
The other award went to the team behind the online (English Speakers of Other Languages) ESOL group, set up to support the arrival of Ukranian refugees.
In addition, the Nifty Fifty group, which offers a range of educational, leisure and social activities in the Coatbridge area for over 50s, won the Andrew Ferrie Special Award.
