An Evening with Joy Dunlop – Friday 24 February, Bellshill Cultural Centre
Gaelic singing, music and chat with Joy Dunlop and friends – renowned performer Joy will be joined by two musicians to perform Gaelic songs. There might be a little dancing too!
Time for Gaelic event – Saturday 25 February, Greenfaulds High School
A Gaelic-themed event for all ages, featuring Gaelic language, music, singing, sport, arts and crafts. We have planned a variety of workshops for all the family in the medium of Gaelic, including shinty, crafts, singing and musical performances, storytelling, conversation, books and authors and much more!
Leugh is Seinn le Linda
We are also asking people to book a specific slot in the Leugh is Seinn le Linda workshop for ages 0-8, which will happen as part of the Time for Gaelic event.

Monday 20 February
Mairi MacInnes - a talented Gaelic singer - will be in the department all day and will manage to work with pupils for one period each.
Wednesday 22 February
Author Maya MacGregor will deliver a writing workshop with S1-3 (and maybe S2 Learners). 8.50am to 2.05pm.
Wednesday 22 February
Angela NicLeòid will talk to S5/6 about future career options in Gaelic teaching, the opportunities for work in the wider Gaelic World, and to promote Gaelic as an asset.
