Lanarkshire businesses can access free tailored consultancy support on a range of topics.

The Expert Help service provides specialist advice to improve businesses’ skills and capabilities and help them develop an action plan for future growth.

North and South Lanarkshire Councils have secured funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for the Expert Help service.

Eligible businesses can access up to 35 hours of free expert consultancy support in areas such as finance, marketing, business development and information and digital technology.

“Our Expert Help service is designed to support businesses with the potential to grow,” said Councillor Alex McVey, Convener of the Enterprise and Fair Work Committee.

“It provides one-to-one advice to help them expand into new markets or develop new products and services which can lead to more jobs and supports the local economy.”
