Hundreds of pupils from schools across North Lanarkshire took part in this year’s Christmas card design competition.
And the winners were announced at a special event held at St Brendan’s Primary School in Motherwell.
Provost Kenneth Duffy said: “The standard was exceptional and choosing a winner certainly wasn’t easy.
“The pupils have brought their artistic talents to bring a splash of colour to our Christmas cards, which are sent across the country and some internationally.”
