Voluntary organisations and community groups in Cumbernauld are being encouraged to apply to the Campsies Fund Programme 2024.
The grant provides up to £10,000 in financial support for projects that contribute to the well-being and development of communities within the Cumbernauld North, South, and East wards.
Councillor Geraldine Woods, Convener of the Communities Committee, highlighted the importance of this funding, stating, "This is a fantastic opportunity for local groups to secure essential funding to support their projects. So, they must take advantage of this opportunity to develop their community initiatives.
"I strongly encourage all eligible organisations to apply and develop their activities such as improving community safety, the well-being of communities and the overall appearance of an area."
Applications are now open and must be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday 19 November 2024.
Funding can be used for employee costs, accommodation, program expenses, and even capital projects that can be completed within a year.
