A new hub to encourage and support more women to get started and grow successful businesses is opening in North Lanarkshire.
The HIVE, located at One Wellwynd in Airdrie, will offer desks, offices and meeting rooms, treatment rooms, on-site business advice and support, and events and networking opportunities.
Use of the workspace is free until August 2024 and will be available 24/7 to suit all needs and users’ other commitments.
We are inviting anyone interested in using The HIVE to a launch event on 2 February when they can tour the facility, meet business advisors and enjoy lunch.
To book a free space at the event, visit www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-hive-launch-day-tickets-796708625947?aff=oddtdtcreator
“The HIVE is an excellent new space for women in North Lanarkshire to bring their business ideas to life, providing accommodation and expert advice,” said Councillor Alex McVey, Convener of the Enterprise and Fair Work Committee.
“It offers a supportive environment for women to develop and grow their businesses, and the launch event on 2 February is an opportunity to see around the facility and hear about the support available.”
This project is supported by funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Scottish Government Pathways Pre-Start Fund.
