There are many benefits to using BisAccount:
In line with our Digital First vision, as we move the business services we provide online, adopting BisAccount allows us to establish that the person creating the account is a real person, allowing us to transact safely and securely with that business.
Currently, you can use your BisAccount to book, manage and pay for your business waste collection. We have recently launched our Business Enquiry Service online and you will require a BisAccount to access this service.
In time, you will be able to use BisAccount to apply for a range of business grants and request permits so it's important that the organisations whose service you access are able to confirm you are who you say you are.
In the future, we hope to include other regulatory council services such as licensing and non-domestic rates
