NL Academies

North Lanarkshire Council is committed to preparing young people and the wider community for the future.  To ensure everyone is equipped with the necessary skills for today’s workforce, NL Academies will work together with key industry sectors to ensure there is an increasingly skilled workforce employed in roles which fit industry need.

The work of NL Academies is currently focused on three key industries; Built Environment, Health and Social Care and Digital.

Funded by UK Government

NL Academies is currently supported by funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and training programmes are being developed to provide opportunities for all groups of people within North Lanarkshire to learn new skills, help support people into work and contribute to greater economic outputs.
