Report sexual harassment

The Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act) Act increased an employer’s obligations to protect its employees against sexual harassment. We need to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of our employees in the course of their employment.

We introduced the Sexual Harassment policy following approval at committee in November 2023.

The policy sets out a framework to deal with harassment that occurs by staff (which may include consultants, contractors, and agency workers) and also by third parties such as customers, suppliers, or members of the public.

This Sexual Harassment Policy aims to protect employees, officers, consultants, self-employed contractors, casual workers, agency workers, volunteers and job applicants from unwanted sexual advances and give them guidelines to report incidents.  The Policy can accessed on the myNL.co.uk website.

As part of this, we have also introduced an anonymous reporting form for employees and third parties to make a complaint anonymously. The form can be accessed below and is also available on myNL.
