As part of our commitment to maximise the potential of our car park assets, on 29 April 2024 the Council promoted a new Traffic Regulation Order.  The new regulations, which are effective from 13 May 2024, will enable the better management of the eight car parks listed below, and ensure in future that:

• Disabled bays are for the exclusive use of blue badge holders.
• EV charging infrastructure is available for EV vehicles.
• Heavy Goods Vehicles are excluded from parking (vehicles over 3.5T).
• Vehicles do not park in car parks outwith hours of opening.
• Aisles and footways are kept clear from vehicles.

Those not complying with the terms and conditions may be subject to a Penalty Charge Notice, and/or the vehicle may be removed from the location at the owner's expense.
