Coatbridge Town Board

Coatbridge has been awarded £19.51m in funding from the UK Government to develop and deliver a Long-Term Plan for the town, setting out a vision for Coatbridge over the next ten years.

North Lanarkshire Council is the accountable body for this funding and we support the Coatbridge Town Board, which has responsibility for developing the Plan and overseeing its delivery through three-yearly Investment Plans.

The Board was established in April 2024 and the Investment Plan is expected to be submitted to UK Government for its approval (and release of funds) in September 2024.
