New car park for Drumpellier

There is now a new car park on Blair Road for visitors to Drumpellier Country Park. To keep the park safe for pedestrians and cyclists please do not drive out of the car park and into the park itself. Flats in Coatbridge to be demolished as regeneration plans move forward

Following the success of the initial phase, we have received resounding resident support for the next stage of our tower regeneration programme.

New information displays are open in the Visitor Centre at Drumpellier Country Park

Visitors can learn about the lives of the Iron Age people who lived in the area and their crannog houses, which were built on wooden stilts above the loch, as well as the industrial heritage of Coatbridge, with a model of Scotland’s first iron boat, The Vulcan.
