We use different sources of information to develop investment programmes for our houses. These include:
- What we already know about the age of elements in your home such as heating boilers, wiring as well as the roofs and the walls.
- Ongoing surveys that we carry out on our houses to make sure they continue to pass the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS).
- Compliance with energy efficiency legislation, decarbonisation of energy and other legislation we need to comply with such as Fire Safety requirements.
- Tenants, owners sharing common repair responsibilities with us, councillors, our housing and repairs staff.
- Our Ambition and Regeneration Plans.
- Our Tower Revisioning Programme.
We use this information to produce a programme which is then submitted to Committee every year for its consideration.
