Before you start

Check Appendix D of the winter services policy to see if you meet the criteria for a new grit bin.

Use the map of grit bins to find bins that can be refilled. Grit is also available from your nearest community salt stock or recycling centre

During bad weather, it may take longer to process your request, but we will get to it as soon as we can.
