Request business waste to be collected

Before you start

Once this form has been completed and submitted the documentation controls the movement of waste between you and North Lanarkshire Council under the Environmental Protection (Duty of Care) (Scotland) Regulations 2014 which is a legal requirement. In order for your business to comply with The Waste (Scotland) Regulations 2012, you are legally required to present certain waste streams in a manner to facilitate recycling. These now include food wastes, metals, plastics, paper, card, and mixed glass.

Within the form:

• Section A asks about the holder of the waste
• Section B asks the type/quantity of waste, bin sizes & collection frequency
• Section C asks you to select UK Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes
