Residents who have a brown bin will have received a letter this week giving details of how to apply for a garden waste permit. You can apply online from 16 April.

Delivery can take up to 21 days so please order early to ensure your permit arrives before 1 June. From that date you will need a permit to dispose of garden waste in the brown bin.

If you’re a council tenant, you don’t need to apply as the garden waste service is paid for through your rent and you will automatically receive a permit.
