Race equality statistics

We continue to monitor the following by ethnic origin using the Census categories;-

  • Number of staff in post
  • Applicants for employment
  • Applicants interviewed
  • Applicants successful
  • Applicants who have been promoted
  • Numbers of staff who receive training
  • Numbers of staff who are involved in the grievance procedures
  • Number of staff who are subject to disciplinary procedures
  • Number of staff who cease employment with the council

The employment data is collated and analysed on a quarterly basis. Employment monitoring reports are submitted quarterly to the Corporate Management Team and also to the Lanarkshire Black and Ethnic Minorities Employees' Forum, and annually to the Policy and Resources (Human Resources) Sub- Committee.
