Devonview Family learning Centre is situated in the heart of the Cairnhill community within Airdrie.  The early years' service is part of North Lanarkshire Council and offers high quality care and education to children aged 2 to 5 years.  The service opened in March 1991 and has evolved and improved in response to local and national standards and expectations.

The family learning centre model is based upon an inclusive and engaging approach which focuses on children's care, welfare and learning within the context of their families and communities.

The centre is open 52 weeks of the year with the exception of public holidays, in-service days and the week in between Christmas and New Year.  It offers an extended day form 8.30am to 5.00pm subject to demand.  It presently has 52 children attending at any one time.

The staff team consists of head of centre, depute head of centre, 12 early learning practitioners, additional support needs assistant, clerical assistant and caretakers. 

Our vision is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where we aspire to work in true partnership with parents and others to support each child, their motivation and potential to play and learn.
