We recognise that older people often have complex and interacting needs that require support, care and treatment from a range of professionals at the same time.

Integrated day services adopt an integrated approach, involving staff from health and social care working together to provide timely and co-ordinated care and support for older people. The services are located in the main towns of North Lanarkshire; Airdrie, Bellshill, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Kilsyth, Motherwell, Shotts and Wishaw.

People who attend Integrated Day Services can come on a short term or regular basis depending on the level of support required. Carers are actively encouraged to be involved in developing support for the person on an individualised basis.

There is a standard charge for each day you attend Integrated Day Service. Staff will confirm the charge with you before you start attending. There is also a daily charge for lunch, which includes light snacks and refreshments throughout the day.

To access Integrated Day Service for Older People a formal assessment of the person's support requirements needs to be carried out by a social work or health professional.
