Our Lady and St Francis Primary School in Motherwell is celebrating after retaining its SportScotland Gold Sports Award.

Mavisbank School pupils have started an exciting new chapter after moving into their refurbished new home at the former Carnbroe Primary School site in Coatbridge. 

There were smiles, songs and more than a few emotional moments in Craigneuk on Saturday as a stunning new statue of Scottish football legend Tommy Gemmell was officially unveiled in his hometown.

Communities are set to benefit from a £10million boost for community, culture and leisure facilities.

Work is starting on the first phase of development at Ravenscraig Enterprise Park to create new commercial premises which will support local jobs and economic growth.
