Community Sport Hubs aim to increase the number of people of all ages participating in sport and physical activity in local communities across Scotland. All hubs in North Lanarkshire are  based in High Schools and aim to bring  people from clubs, sports organisations and schools together to develop sport.

Hubs also provide information, support and advice on a wide range of sports and physical activities to make it easier for local people to get involved and engage in a more active and healthier lifestyle. The specifics of each Hub and what it offers will vary according to local need and local resource. However all Hubs will work to the following five principles:

  • Growth in Participation
  • Understanding Community Need
  • Supporting Leadership
  • Offering a range of sports
  • Ensuring the right people are working together

Current North Lanarkshire Hubs are as follows;

  • Chryston Community Sport Hub
  • Clyde Valley Community Sport Hub
  • Coltness Community Sport Hub
  • Motherwell Community Sport Hub
  • Coatbridge Community Sport Hub
  • St Margaret's Community Sport Hub
  • St Maurice's Community Sport Hub
